8:18AM: Less than 8 hours to launch. Tile repair completed. Launch structure rollback at 11PM last night. We're go for launch! Let's hope for good weather, now...
Now, I just have to get the family motivated and awake to go eat breakfast. They'll be staying here on Canova Beach while I go on base at KSC to get a close-up view. I'll be about 3.25 miles from the pad. Fall back safety zone is at 3 miles.
The latest look at www.weather.com shows Huricane Emily tracking further south towards Mexico. Good for us. Another one brewing off the west coast of Africa. Looks like we'll squeeze our vacation in between weather threats.
