9:30AM: Finished breakfast with the family...Friendlies for the third day in a row...
11:50AM: Finished a teleconference with co-workers back in Maryland. Coordinated work via email with others back there, too.... kids are bored...
1:00PM: Arrive at the KSC Visitors Center and spent the rest of the day/evening there. Tour of the base was great with me as the added tour guide...
8:30PM: Had dinner at Caraba's on the deck. Wonderful night. Great food. Super service for a change. Kids real tired.
Plan: Kids need a day of rest but will have to wait until Saturday. We're wrapping up our stay here in Canova Beach with a little morning beach time and a final swing through the Astronaut Hall of Fame. Then on to Orlando. With the launch still possible on Saturday, we are planning on returning to Cocoa Beach for more beach time for the kids while I watch the launch on base. If it doesn't go on Saturday, then it won't happen until September...
